How it works
Page previews are drawn in your browser by PDF.js. When you save, the pages you kept are copied into a new PDF with pdf-lib, in the order you set. Pages are copied as they are rather than redrawn, so text stays selectable and quality is identical to the original. Rotation is added to whatever rotation a page already had.
Common use cases
- Removing blank or unwanted pages from a scan
- Fixing the page order of a document that was scanned out of sequence
- Rotating just the pages that are sideways
Frequently asked questions
- Does this upload my PDF anywhere?
- No. Previews are drawn and the new PDF is built entirely in your browser.
- Does saving reduce quality?
- No. Pages are copied unchanged into the new file. Nothing is re-rendered or recompressed.
- How do I move a page?
- Drag it onto the position you want, or use the arrow buttons under the page. On a touch screen, use the arrow buttons.
- Are bookmarks and form fields kept?
- The page contents are kept exactly. Document-level extras such as the bookmark outline and fillable form fields may not carry over to the new file.
- What are the limits?
- PDFs up to 100 MB and 500 pages. Password-protected PDFs are not supported.
