Image Cropper
Runs locally
Cut an image down to the part you want. Drag the frame or type exact pixel values, lock it to a ratio such as 1:1 or 16:9, and rotate or flip the image if it needs it. Everything happens in your browser.

How it works
The image is decoded by your browser and shown as a preview with a crop frame on top. When you apply, the full-size image is rotated, flipped and cut on a canvas, so the result has the original's full resolution even though the preview is smaller. Cropping without resizing does not blur anything: the kept pixels are copied as they are, then saved in the original format or as JPG, PNG or WebP.
Common use cases
- Cropping a photo to a square for a profile picture
- Cutting a screenshot down to the part that matters
- Rotating a sideways photo or mirroring an image
Frequently asked questions
- Does this upload my image anywhere?
- No. Cropping happens entirely in your browser and the image is never sent to a server.
- How do I crop to an exact size?
- Type the width, height and position in pixels under the preview. To get specific final dimensions, crop to the right ratio here and then use the Image Resizer.
- Does cropping reduce quality?
- The kept area keeps all its pixels. Saving as JPG or WebP re-encodes the image, so use a high quality setting or PNG if that matters.
- Can I only rotate or flip, without cropping?
- Yes. Leave the frame covering the whole image, rotate or flip, and apply.
